Reflection Week 3

This week I learnt about 2 games called Ki O Rahi and Ti Uru. When I was playing Ki O Rahi it got a bit confusing because there was a lot of different sections where you could go and not. When I played Ti Uru it was challenging because in the game you had to catch the "key" with a felt palm and try not to drop it.

Reflection Week 2

This week I learned about the game Lacrosse and Kabaddi. I enjoyed learning about these new games. A challenge I experienced in Lacrosse was I had to scoop up the ball and not hit it like hockey. A way I dealt with the challenge was to put my stick in a position that will remind me to scoop the ball rather than hit it.

English Connections

Today in English we went into 3 groups and went around the work stations. The first one we went to we had to answer questions about video games. We then went to the next one were we got to colour in and use an app called Quiver. The last station we went to we had to answer 2 questions on padlet about VR. I learned about the difference between augmented and virtual reality. Augmented links to the hunger games because the peace keepers put challenges into the arena via augmented reality. Virtual reality links to the short film Uncomy Valley when the people in the short film put the nose rings in and go into game mood.
